Daily Meow
animated movie
What is it really like, living with a cat?
Shrines, Shintō and stray cats: The documentary “Gokogu no Neko: The Cats of Gokogu Shrineˮ demonstrates the clash of the townspeople and the stray cats, that made their home in the Gokogu Shinto shrine. Under our seminar “Animation for Illustrationˮ we created our very own short movie to accompany the documentary, thus demonstrating the topics of the movie just like an illustration would for a book. With a wide array of animation techniques I tried to paint a highly diverse depiction of cats being the enrichments in our lives that they are.
